I started my 6 week transformation in June of 2019 and finished on July 22nd. I lost a total of 13 lbs. and 7.5% body fat. At 43 years old, I’ve never felt stronger! I plan to do another 6 week transformation starting in January! Thank you to all the coaches and amazing gym family that helped me reach my goals!
My daughter was going off to college this past fall 2019. She needed to train so she could pass the Army ROTC PT exam. In June we both joined the gym. From the get go the training was great and fellowship of the other Cross-fitters was so encouraging, friendly, and simply amazing. I have been working out all my life but had never experienced an environment like this. My daughter and I both jumped into the 6 week transformation as well. Since my battle with cancer, I had slowly gained weight, about 18 lbs. Combining the CrossFit training with proper eating did the trick. I lost the weight along with 6% body fat and have kept it off.
My daughter hit the college campus last fall and passed her ROTC PT exam with flying colors and I have remained “cross-fitting”. It’s not easy. It’s challenging but is so rewarding when you see the results. Regardless of age, I’m over 55, you will feel better and the results are amazing. The thing I’ve learned with this training is to go at my pace and the rest will follow.
